Have you ever been to the Boohlian Zoo
In the city of Bahg on the planet of Boohl?
Admission is free for anyone who
Has never been there, as a general rule.
The idea being you'll think it's so nice
You'll want to come back and pay the full price.
Boohl is about three light years away
Past the planet of Seuss in our Milky Way.
The journey is long; space travel is slow,
Please pack a lunch if you're planning to go.
Here's a small tip that might save you some trouble
Transfer at Mars to the Boohlian shuttle.
It leaves every Thursday at a quarter past eight
And takes you right up to the zoo's main front gate.
This is the zoo everyone is talking about
You'll be so amazed that you'll scream and shout.
The first thing you'll notice when you look around is that
The cages are bubbles that float off the ground.
The zookeeper's collection is very diverse
With one of each creature from the known universe.
There's a six legged yak from the Zox Galaxie
And a Plutonian Ginx that you really must see.
There's a chimp with six fingers and two thumbs on each hand
And a two necked ostrich who buries his head in the sand.
A trip to the zoo would not be complete
Without a visit to the Abalon sheep.
They don't go by numbers, they go by their letters
Abalon sheep have two hands so they knit their own sweaters.
Bohemas are huge; twice the size of Yubble-dubbles
To keep them contained it takes sixteen bubbles.
And a Lewp is so small it disappears when it bends,
It can only be seen through a microscope lens.
From the Bazzarr Universe where the Zoocaroo lives,
There's a creature so strange they don't know what it is.
There's a Soolian bird with wings on it's head
That can't seem fly so it hovers instead.
Snoodles and Zoids frolic this way and that
And there's something that grins like a Cheshire cat.
A Hump-a-lump yawns, a Snarfle-arfle-arfellous wails
As Wix monkeys swing from each other's tails.
These are just some of the sights that you'll see
As animals come in an endless variety.
But, the pride of the zoo, right next to the Gluephen
In the very last cage is where they keep a human.
This is one exhibit I hope you'll come see
For the human they keep is the human called ME!
